We are thrilled to welcome Juliana Davila back to the Patten family! Juliana has rejoined the Patten Title team as a Senior Escrow Officer and Branch Manager for the company’s new Memorial office location after a year away.
Juliana previously worked at Patten Title for five years as an Escrow Officer, helping resolve title issues and ensuring a smooth closing process for clients. “Returning to Patten really feels like coming home,” she said. “This is an exciting time for the Patten Title team as we continue to expand our locations to better accommodate the areas we serve. The support and opportunities for professional growth that the Patten Title team offers is unmatched, and I could not be more excited to re-join the team.”
Juliana started her career in the title insurance industry at First American in 2006 as a Fee Attorney before moving to Texas Title in 2012 in a similar capacity. “I entered the title insurance industry fresh out of high school after seeing an ad for an escrow assistant position. My boss at the time was nervous to hire me because I was only 17! Since then, I’ve accumulated 15 years in the title industry, working with developers and builders as well as residential clients, giving me a unique skill set and perspective in the market.”
Through the years, Juliana has experienced many memorable transactions, but one story in particular stands out. “I was working with two sellers who were going through a divorce and days away from a foreclosure. The day of closing, the husband signed his documents, but the wife was nowhere to be found. I remember getting on the phone with her and explaining that if she didn’t sign, she would lose the house and the money she needed to start her life over. After many calls, she finally decided to sign, and I was given an hour window before her next work trip. I sent a notary to the Austin airport, and we got it done just in time to stop the foreclosure.”
The title industry also brought Juliana to her partner Ryan, who she met while working at Patten Title. Juliana notes that her biggest accomplishment is giving birth to their baby girl in 2019. Rounding out a banner 2019, Juliana also received the Patten MVP Award that same year!
When she’s not at work, Juliana can be found at STK, her favorite restaurant in Houston, cooking and trying new recipes at home, or visiting Disney with her family. Juliana hopes to plan her next trips to Egypt and Tokyo soon.
