This year looks to be closing out with some sharp turns.

Here’s what we saw overall for the month of September across the Central Texas market: Overall increase in median sales price across the board. Closed sales are mixed with Austin – RR MSA, Austin, Travis and Williamson counties down, while Bastrop, Caldwell and Hays counties showed a uptick of up to 25%. Average Days on Market and Months of Inventory continue to rise across all counties. Sales volume is down in all counties except Hays with a 32% increase and Bastrop showing a 41% increase.

Luckily, we haven’t seen an increase in rates from the feds, so here is hoping for a smoother trajectory for the remainder of 2022.
